Hi everybody, after a while I am delurking again. I am really exited about the
new Japanese fleets. But as usual: Where are the rules for them?? Jon do
something, we are still waiting for the UNSC and Islam rules. Also the story
of the Kra'Vak war needs some more official input.
It is one thing, to put out nice ships, but once in a couple of years, we also
need some new input rulewise!
:-)

I know the P&P will eat me alive. I'm so... weak.

I must agree with the above poster, though, stats for all the goodies
(preferentially linked to both a standalone page /and/ the catalog
entry) would be vunderbar.

Agis,
The NAC, ESU, NSL and FSE fleets were out in 1993 (NAC and ESU were earlier
still).
Fleet Book 1 was published in 1998.
Somehow the players managed to cope during those intervening years. I'm
certain that you could follow their example...

We're planning some new stuff as soon as time allows.... in the meantime
that's why a) the game has a design system, and b) gamers have imaginations!
<GRIN>
Watch out for the March edition of Miniature Wargames, which will have an
unofficial but very interesting-looking article on the Islamic Fed in
FT, with ship designs, by John Lambshead.

Thanks for the order - don't worry, the P&P won't be too bad - most of
it
will be cancelled out by the removal of the VAT from the prices! :-)

I'm sure that all the players here could throw in there 2 cents on ideas for
the Japanese fleet, and come up with some good rules to hold everyone over
tell the next Fleet Book comes out.

We don't need any new rules. The ones we have work fine. What we need is a
theme for the fleet.
What about high maneuverability and lots of 1 Arc class 3's or
P-torps?
Just use the ship design rules and one of the ship bits files to make SDDs
