And I feel obliged to note that they paint up wonderfully well -- quick,
easy, and they look great. I've got 40 of the plastic ones, and most of the
metal ones, all done. You just have to be sure to prime the plastic with
enamels first, because acrylics just bead up on this material, and will not
cover. On the flip side, the soft plastic is very easy to work with, and makes
conversions into a piece of cake.
The only real flaw is their size...these are BIG figures, standing a
little taller than even typical GW minis. I don't mind that myself --
makes them look all the more menacing -- but some may find this a
bit off-putting.

I have a number of Fortress Miniatures. I bought several packs of their
tombstones. They can be primed with Krylon acrylic sandable primer. Once dry,
they paint up with acrylic paints rather nicely.
INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH, UPS deliverd a box containing 24 of these resin zombies
from FF about 30 minures or so ago,
i have been setting here fondling the, and thinking, LOL, inspite of the
"cartoony" look, these 28mm toys will work fine for my zombies in space game..
..
i need to get another batch of these-say another 24 minimum-, some of
the metal toys that go with them, some GW skeltons and zombies in plastic.
when painted these will be my zombie plague colonists, and all of those
lovely WZ necromutants and legionarys in plastic (about 60 odd of
them, all horribly painted) will be my gun-toting zombies. . . .
almost ready to rock....
DAWGIE
Darn Orbital mind Control Lasers are acting up! I thought I set them to
