Cool!

Guess I will have to play the lottery to afford a set

But perhaps I'll wait till they have the scale down to 1/300 ;-)

I'd rather see parts of the tank flying, accompanied by smoke and flash,
but I suppose that IS a bit childish on my part. ;->=

Motorized, laser emitters and sensors, AND logic in a micro armour tank. How
many lotteries are you planning on hitting???

Course, with the list's love of nanotech, you could wait for that, and run
constant scale tanks on an old Avalon Hill Third Reich board. *heh heh*

On the other hand, figs that would actually scope LOS and range is a bit
tempting. If someone tries fudging, he best have an advanced degree in EE.

What alarms me (vaguely) is that my wife wants two, because you need at least
that many to play the battlesim. The only reason that this is alarming is that
RC is an expensive hobby (or so I am led to believe).

It should be out in 1/350 for the Bismark or Yamato. Expect more kits
if it

Mein Gott!! Keep her!!!!

As an aside, I just got off the phone with the local Hobbytown, and they have
the battle system in their computer at $130US. I couldn't find any MSRP's on
any of the sites.

Pile on the cost of a 1/16th tank kit, the R/C electronics, and then
double it, and you is not kidding, bwana!

One problem I had with combat ships gaming now done is pretty much 18th direct
fire 'move as close as possible and broadside' shooting. Ok, even in the 18th
there was some ranged shots, but you get the idea. This COULD be made
complicated enough to simulate longer range, including plunging fire.

However, I'm calling time on myself that this going overlong [OT]. Reply as
you will, I'll hush up.

My girlfriend scuba dives. She was just looking at boyancy compensators at
$400 US. One of these tanks loaded is less than that.

Hobbies are expensive.

Really. There are few of those special models around. My wife
(ex-FRPGamer) insists I get in my game time - says it keeps me sane and
that keeps her sane...
