WELL, I HOPE THIS MAKES IT TO THE LIST THIS TIME!
HERE are some real world camoflage uiform examples to look over and think
about when considering alien world camoflage schemes.
CAMOFLAGE, whether it is painted or dyed, or produced by a high tech sneaksuit
worn over normal armor and battlle dress has but one pupose.
TO BREAK UP SHAPES AND OUTLINES.
ALSO, remember that all high tech wonderfulness will eventually fail under
field service conditions that designers NEVER EVEN CONSIDERED for some reason
or reasons.
THE more complicated something is, the greater the chance of MURPHY"S LAW
coming into play.
Sooo, even in the far future, "modern" uniforms will be dyed to match local
terrain colors, and maybe even treated with agents to reduce the wearer's IF
signature as a cost effective low tech method of camoflage.
( I vaguely remember something about USA battledress in the 80s-90s was
supposed to be treated with an agent to reduce IF signature, but that it did
not work well or t all after several washings in soap and water. I just cannot
remember now if this progressed beyond the experimental stage, or has been
discontinued now)
Skin paint will continue in use too as long as soldiers fight with exposed
skin and try to conceal their flesh tones by camoflage.
Ditto for the painting of camoflage patterns on vehicles, weapons, and
aero- space craft.

Well, it wasn't included that I can see, but is this what you're thinking of?

mail2web - Check your email from the web at

That's strange. That is the link that DAWGFACE referenced but I did see it in
his note, albeit at the very bottom.

ODD, it was right at the bottom of the email message page when it showed up
own my screen, and on this list.
That is the same place.
Has some nice and not seen to often camouflage uniforms patterns.

It doesn't show up on my screen either - the text above is all I got
from
this particular email, for example. Try putting it in the message text -
it looks as if my mail program strips off your.signature.

The reason some people saw and others didn't is because you made the
URL an attachment to your e-mail message. The list generally frowns
upon attachments due to the differing e-mail clients that are in use
by list members.
LET ME SEE NOW.
I got this from my favorites file on WEBTV. For some reason, sometimes the
system send a URL, at other times a page title (like it did this time)
When I send from favorites, the address or title (instead of an address) is
automatically placed at the foot of the page.
I cannot move the page to the center of an email the way this system works.,
it is automatically placed at the bottom of the page.
Any comments I place on the sent email is always placed in the body above the
the page title or address.
And an attachment is somethiing completely different in this system that
requires a series of deliberate actions to attach and send.
Sooo, I cannot change the way WEBTV does this guys.
