In just over a week I start my annual trek to GenCon, I just don't stop and
Milwaukee this year, I keep on going to Indianapolis. It runs from the 24th of
July through the 27th.
So now that it is closer to the east coast, who else will be there?
I know Mark Siefert and The_Beast plan on making it, anyone else?
I will be running FT demos on Thursday, my Sci-Fi Crossover on Friday
(TOS Klingons vs Star Wars Rebels), and the FT Tournament on Saturday. Former
listee Mike Miserendio will be running some Dirtside games. Mark Siefert will
be running some Hard Vacuum games.

Holla, Ok I can't make GenCon cause it's 2 weeks before my wedding and it's on
the far side of the continent. For those going, anyone able to do me a favour?
Theoretically Wizkids Games will be there selling Aurora Class Dropships for
$100USD. Could someone by a couple for me? I can send a money order for them
right after purchase to cover them and shipping to Seattle.
At Origins, they were only one to a customer...

Sorry, I hadn't included the previous quote to be clear. I think the above may
explain why these, at least currently, are going for a bit more than $100 on
eBay.

Or, even, once you see it up close, you might decide it works VERY well as a
table center piece. While huge for such things, it's scale is just
indeterminate enough that I could see it disgorging Space Marines, Japanese
Corporates, or even DSII scale tanks, though, of course, the guns on the ship
start to look pretty silly.
Have to give credit; the guns are 'clix' wheels, but they are very subtle.
I've bought clix for various wild-eyed projects, without a thought for
actually playing the system (and, I've plenty rousing testimonials). I've
gathered some Iron Lung and Deep Spawn for an as-yet-unrealized Captain
Nemo Meets the Fish Men, Mech Warrior infantry for making up O.G.R.E.
miniatures infantry stands - chopped into one's, two's, and three's.
For a guy who doesn't paint, this stuff can be useful.

I'll have to see how finances are going before I can commit. Too much stuff
I want before I can buy for someone else ;-)

Glenn, I look forward to meeting you and any other listers who can make it.
The best way to find me is in the Miniatures gaming area and here are the
times I am running games:
Thursday July 24th
5:00 PM - Full Thrust Demo
7:00 PM - Full Thrust Demo
Friday July 25th
12:00 Noon - Sci-Fi Crossover: Empires and Rebels (Klingons vs. Star
Wars Rebels)
5:00 PM - Sci-Fi Crossover: Empires and Rebels (Klingons vs. Star Wars
Rebels)
Saturday July 26th
12:00 Noon - Full Thrust Admiral's Tournament
(http://www.star-ranger.com/FTtourney.htm)
Stop by and say 'Hi' or play in the Tourney on Saturday, it can always use
more players
> I'll have to see how finances are going before I can commit. Too much
I'll probably try to pick up a second; not sure if I'll add it to the pile
of stuff I'll get around to using 'someday', though. ;->=

Are the Crossovers full already?

Now I'd be willing to send a prepayment, it's got the same major wince nerve
with me too but they're tough to come by.
Tor eference though you can check my eBay account: xingtao or talk to Brian
Bilderback about how fast I send money.
Hello:
I don't suppose that there is going to be some sort of get-together for
FT list members, is there.
Later,
I think you just volunteered to organize it! I won't be there, but I'm sure
that at least one other will.
