I went to the Design gallery at Brigade Models to see what was cooking and
took a look at the Francophile Legion wheeled medium tank in progress
- I am unsure what DS2 "size" it represents but talk about a great
looking mini! I can see these in my PHR wheeled elements as a
LBT/MBT/HBT depending on the size (10 wheels makes me think HBT or MBT.)
Brigade Models guys on any of the lists, just how big is this looking it will
finally be cast at? Approximately, of course. And when? Approximately of
course, again.

My guess, without knowing the actual figure size, is that that depends on what
other figs you have and what "size" you call them. I have always been under
the impression that DS2 "Sizes" WRT figures were fairly relative based on
their relationship to the player's other figs, WITHIN REASON. A lot of this is
because size class and capacity are pretty nebulous abstracts of real life,
they're only concrete in their relationship with each other.
For instance, I use a GZG grav tank fig that, in comparison to my other
forces, is a class 4, but compared to other figs from the GZG line would only
be a 2 or 3, *IF* you presume the Io is a class 4. So my figures are smaller
per class than figs used by others
- but they're consistent in regards to the other
figures I use, and they're logically incremented once you understand how I'm
basing the size classes. I use GHQ BRDM's with SA launchers as class 2 with
twin
GMS/H. My class 4 vehicles are comparable in size to
modern line (like GHQ and C in C) MBT's. Class 1's
are TINY. GHQ VAB's are class 2-3 depending on
function. Other people might call them other sizes, and I would have no
problem with that, as long as I could look at one next to THAT player's other
figs and approximate their size in comparison.
