Not to try to put any more on Jons already overloaded plate, but what is
next on the list for releases? We just had Fleet Book II. What is
the
next project in the DS2, SG or FT universe? I must admit that as a FT
player I would like to see more for it but I'm sure I would be shouted down by
all the DS2 and SG players.

I suspect we have FB3(maybe even FT3), Bugs don't Surf(SG2) and even a DS2
update in the pipeline. I would like to vote for Bugs don't Surf though.
That is, if we are allowed to vote on this:-)

Admit it, you're hoping for stats for the UNSC so I don't bring them to the
table "my way"....

Rules Lawyering, err ship optimization, is just another aspect of the game;)

I'd kinda like to see a formalization/completion of the
FMA Skirmish rules. On the other hand, though I glom onto the books as they
come out, I get very little opportunity to actually play.

I tend to play much more FT than DS2 or SG2 (although I don't have time
to play enough of any right now - kids do nasty things to your available
gaming time) but I'd still like to see some more source material for the
ground pounders, whether it's BDS or something else. TOEs, vehicle designs (or
at least some design philosophies for the various GZGverse powers), scenarios,
new rules, harmonisation between DS2 and SG2, all would be welcome.

Then again, if FB3 was next I certainly wouldn't complain...

DS2/SG2 harmony would also be Very Helpful.

In order to add a little more SF flavor, I'd like to see "ground combat
effects" for vacuum and low/zero gee. If we had this I'd be induced to
go
ahead and get SG2/BDS.

I'm hoping it's the turn of us groundpounders next. We need a supplement fix,
those vacumnheads have had two in a row now!

Either BDS or FMA would be very cool.

I know that the vacumnheads are the bulk of Jon's business, however.

I'll toss my vote in for either of these products. The two Fleet Books have
been a great shot in the arm for the starship combat system and we'll have
plenty to digest and explore before needing another FT fix.

FMA would be my first choice. We did some playtesting of an FMA scenario for
ECC IV and, literally, had a blast.

I have been accused of "maximizing" designs. There is a reason why I put
"automass" features in my ship building programs. A point here and there and
you end up with an extra frigate on the table.

I also seem to have a "fetish" for wave guns and those UNSC ships look like
prime candidates for carrying them:)

Considering you have played more FT in the last while than SG2/DS2 I
think you qualify as a vacuumhead too.

As one vacuum head...I vote for a "Ground Side" thingee next...(at least it
will keep them chattering excitedly for a while. BTW that will be good for the
list also.)

Say..."Ground Side" just might make a nifty title for a combined
DS2/SG2/FMA
thing.

Or how about: "Bugs Don't Surf -- Ground Side" ;-)

Has everyone forgotten about the 'Scenario Book'? Or has it been cancelled and
I missed the announcement?

Personally I'd prefer to see BDS and then FB3. I want supplements not
new/revised core rules and so FMA and especially FT3 can wait as far
as I'm concerned. Though I did enjoy playing the FMA demo at last year's
Bifrost. Anyone know if it's going to be there again this year?

BDS or FMA would be very cool, but I think at least official stats (or even
unofficial 'playtest' stats) for the new minis released recently (UNSC, IF et
al) would be even cooler. (If
nothing else, it would end the UNSC ship threads. (8-) )

Since Indy is part of this thread, I feel it's appropriate to say: "We have
top men working on it."

Oerjan and I are having discussions on IF. (ie I send him my silly ideas; with
his innate nobility, he manages to be courteous as he points out my
arithmetic, spelling, grammatical, conceptual
and tactical mistakes and/or bewilderment). I'll post my proposed specs
for
the ash-Shaulah strikers, Salah-ed-Din DD and Saif-al-Islam BBs shortly.

Yeah, I'll get back to dealing with my UNSC stuff as soon as it gets
too dark to work on my other after-work projects - say by the middle
of next month?? :-) (need to get some stuff tweaked out for my
Defense of Sol scenario for GZGECC IV!!!)

Oh, I've seen all the suggestions go across the list (I may not be
as active as I used to be, but I try to read when I can) -- I was
wondering if/when Jon T would give 'official' sanction to
something...
