Well, have you ever had one of those days...
where almost every time one of your ships that has two firecons (not 1
or 3, or 4) makes a threshold check - usually the first - they _both_
fail!
Once or twice I could live with :-(
I assume this is better then losing them to Needle Beams? 8^)

If I'd lost them to Needle Beams I'd be really upset - as there were no
Needle Beam equiped ships in play :-)

Phantom Needle Ships? Methinks I detect the fetid stench of...
The Bavarian Illuminati!
Well, that *really* would upset one won't it? <grin>

Foetid stench? Right, that's it. You're going in the book. In *red* ink, mind
you.
That'll teach you....
I've really got to update those pages, and add the stats for the Mind Control
Laser System while I'm at it. And maybe the >Fnord< bombs, if I can ever
figure out what they actually *do*.

More likely the other way around. He doesn't want to tell the truth by
accident, and if he just makes something up he might very well do just that

Which of them is right? Who can say?
But to be slightly serious, I've been doing a lot of ship designing over the
past few weeks. I'm going to run a game or two with some new Illuminati ship
designs, and see how they work out in practice. "Badly" would be my guess, but
you never know.
While in Chicago recently, I think I came across a manifestation of our
Bavarian friends. Lou Malnati's Pizza. Say it fast. <Fnord> I truly GREAT
pizza.
