Sorry, one more question...

Can a ship have two or more Wave Guns (ala Andromeda from Star Blazers)?

If so, what happens?

I believe the wave gun is listed as a spinal mount weapon. In FT/MT,
the spinal mounts seem to be treated as a single weapon with the ship hull
built around it without options for multiple mounts per ship. I would
understand the rules from MT as limiting the wave gun to one install per ship.

Of course, you could make your own option for this weapon like the parallel
spinal mounts found in Traveller. The parallel mount gave the architect the
option to install two spinal mount weapons of the same type and configuration
in either a fore or aft firing position. This would be similar to the
Andromeda class ships. For more info on parallel mounts check out the Fire,
Fusion, and Steel supplement.

Yes.

IIRC, when you fire a wave gun, you may not fire other weapons. This should
include the other wave gun. However it does reduce your need to recharge. (one
gun is charging while the other fires) and increases the risk of 'accidental'
detonation.
