Subject: WARFARE Con Details
Status: RO I see from a catalogue update that Jon will be at a con in Reading (WARFARE) on the 15th and 16th of this month. Anyone know any more details about this? I wouldn't mind going, but I need to know when (as in what time) and where it's happening -- not to mention admission charges, etc. If anyone else is going, maybe we could meet up and play a little FT. Warfare is held at the Rivermead Leisure Centre, Reading is/was traffic hell. If you go try an alternative to driving straight through the city centre, as a veteran of many Reading Festivals (the site next door) we always found it easier to skirt around the city and come down Caversham heights (the other side of the river), come over the bridge and turn right at the Ramada Hotel roundabout. The Leisure Centre (with that typical UK leisure centre look!) is easy to spot on the right.

Rivermead centre is well signed from the main inner ring road, and is quite easy to find; plenty of free parking. Show opens at 10am both days, closes about 4;30 - 5.00. We'll be there both days. Admission cost is probably about £2 - £3 - normal for wargame shows. Hope to see you there!
