Someone seems to be using my laserlight address to send a virus, so if you see
something from "me" with an attachment, kill it.

Capital punishment is too good for them... they need to suffer first

Require them to read and explain (to everyone's understanding) all of
Phil Barker's rules - to a bunch of GW fanatics and 'colonial'
(non-Brit)
war gamers.

the virus probably includes email spoofing, which means someone who has your
address has been infected. The virus picks a name at random from the infected
computers address book and puts it on the from line of the emails it sends.

Over the phone, to a customer service center in India, with no diagrams?
No, because I'd rather not support provide food and shelter for the rest of
their lives. Dipping them in honey and feeding them to army ants would
suffice. "They're not features...they're bugs!"
Muchas Gracias. <grin>
I try my best.

But, yes, traditional ways are always nice.

True, my daughter had a controlling personality 'friend' who received
e-mails with my daughter's name in the 'to' spot and the only time a
virus had a good effect was when the 'friend' got mad, refused to believe my
daughter wasn't doing this as a 'joke' (the kind she would have done) and it
laid the ground work for my daughter to end the friendship. She's a lot
happier now with a wide circle of friends like she had before Ms.Control Freak
became her 'friend'. She and Ms.C.F. had been classmates for years but only
been 'best friends' less then a year. Everyone (except Ms.C.F) is happier now.
But it was an unintentional side effect of an otherwise nasty virus.

If you want them to live long enough to be able to explain Barkerese and have
everyone understand it, they're going to have to have food, shelter, and
geriatric treatment.
I never mentioned they (the spammers) would live...
