Cut stuff here about Stu's Web page

My mistake on the ECM, I did mean Enh (D8), rather than basic.

I missed the positing of the APC stats. I'm currently using: S3(med), ECM Enh
(D8), Armour 3, Crew 2, Capacity 8 infantry, decoys, smoke launchers
Twin rotary SAW in front mount, DFFG/2 in main turret.

I'd be interested to see what others came up with.

I got a Galoob Dropship which is a little on the small side to use a Cheyanne
(sp?) so I created the Arapahoe Utility Gunship.

The Arapahoe was developed from the Cheyanne airframe design. A smaller more
mobile weapons platform was requred to support front line actions and covert
insertions of troops.

stats: S3 (med), Mobility VTOL, ECM Sup (D10), Armour 2 (all round, as
Dirtside II), Crew 2, Capacity 6 infantry (no PA), Decoys, FC Sup (D10)
Weapons, Rotary SAW chin turret, Two Multi-Launcher Packs, GMS/H
The MLPs fire (together) as Arty (range as GMS), 3 in diam burst D8* impact (*
double major hit on point tgt) The GMS represents two racks of both air to air
AND air to ground missiles

So the Arapahoe is quite powerful, it is a gunship after all. I often use the
arapahoe to replace Arty support, representing marines advancing quicky using
the APCs and Gunships for fire support. What does everyone think, too much
firepower?

(pictures and stats comming soon to a web page near you!)

I have as yet no stats for Aliens. I'd like to use the figs but I can't get my
hands on any. I have been using Kryomek as another nasty alien that the USCMC
has come across. I have been using a modified version of the stats for the KM
(including some new morale stuff I'm trying) Andy Cowel and I came up with
ages ago.

As far as the Leading Edge stuff goes I remember seeing the Aliens RPG a few
years ago but the minis and game never really hit it off where I lived so I
couldn't get my hands on any.

Does Stuart Murray have a web page? If so, where?

So you missed my shameless self promotion, here it is again:

http://steelhead.aecom.yu.edu/stuart/Extras.html

It is a little bare at the moment (I have to actually work round here
sometimes) but watch out for the emergence of the USCMC (in miniature) Page.

For a good source on USCMC equipment and doctrine check out the Aliens:
Colonial Marines Technical Manual by Lee Brimmicombe-Wood. $17 retail
and a great investment.
