Hello all:

Just a quick note. As far as I know, links to virtually all FT pages are on
the UFTWWWP's communication page. If I have missed anyone... PLEASE LET ME
KNOW. I will be working on Gothic Thrust as time permits.

Also, I'd like to discuss re-establishing the GZG IRC chats. I
don't know if we still have the madweb chat room. If not, can anyone suggest
an optional server? I would also like to work out a regular chat schedule.

it is my understanding of IRC that we don't all need to connect to the same
server, hence the "relay" in "internet relay chat". thus, we can all connect
to our friendly neighbourhood irc servers and chat away, as long
as we're on the same channel. creating a channel is easy - just join it,
and if it doesn't exist, it gets created.

my contacts recommend the EFNet group of irc servers, listed at:

http://www.efnet.org/irc.html

there are nodes all over the place (well, all over the US, anyway; there's one
each in the uk, canada andd oz). anyway, i connected to a couple of servers,
joined #gzg and chatted to myself for a bit, so it all works.
i'll hang around for a bit, so if anyone irc-capable wants to try it
out, you know where to find me.

Mark's message reminded me that I have put Mikko Kurki-Suonio's
Dirtside II tables on my website. Its really the only GZG thing I have.
I had grand designs on some ECM/ECCM rules but I think I got beat
there....

If anyone wants it, let me know.

cheers
