In the next few weeks, the UFTWWWP will be going to going through a bit of an
renovation. I'm going to sort through my directory and rearrange the graphics
and text files into a more usable format. I'm also I'm going to try to flaunt
my newly acquird graphics design knowledge to spruce up the site (oringal
imagmes, image maps, etc.). Don't be too surprised if something is there is a
file out of place, or an image file is broken. They will be dealt with.

Just remember that lots of graphics takes a long time to load for people on
slow connections. Sometimes simple plain text (as it is now) and colored table
cells is best.

Contains a lot of tips on this aspect of page design
A simple repeating graphic is OK as that is usually cached by the browser but
large complex and unique images have to come down the line.
One solution is to provide two access points one to simple version and the
other to the high bandwidth one.

OK. While you're at it, could you please change the various links from the
dark red (which, when displayed on a dark blue background, is very
difficult to see - at least if you're partially colour-blind like me)?
The orange-ish colour used on the "front" page is nice and bright :-)
