Subject: Translation Help

Greeting Fellow GZGers,

After I released my Sa'Vasku program yesterday, I realized that what I need
for future releases is support for those of us who aren't native English
speakers.

What I'm looking for is people on the list who can translate English to
Spanish, German, French and Italian. I don't trust online translators as they
tend to make as much sense as a tourist with a phrase book.

Any help you could give would be greatly appriciated.

On the programming front, I have decided to combine my Kra'Vak, Sa'Vasku and
Hu'Man tools into one complete Ship and SSD application. The program will
support multiple export formats,
plus the tool will be extendable with plug-ins for those of you who
are developers and create a new race.

Thanks for the time,

Chuckle. I'd be happy to sell the service to you. Figure $500
minimum, $0.30/word plus fees for graphics, DTP and project
management. Per language. Discounts start at 50K.

Or you could try a machine translation:
http://www.freetranslation.com/ as a semi-random example I
happened to run across a couple of days ago, and _then_ run it
past one of our bilingual listers for review.

I had a hell of a time explaining this to my mitarbeiters (colleagues) in
Germany back in 89. That was before NDR started screening Monty Python. About
1992 they all started to get my occasional comments
in the code along the lines of "Kill Assessment: Target is an Ex-Parrot"
etc.

"Mein Luftwagen ist mit aale gevollt" (if I have it right) was just met with
blank stares at this Verucht (Crazy) Australien.

Is it not "mein luftwagen ist volle allen" phonetically correct if nothing
else, probably not even that.
