Hello, Having seen the question for the issue of how to properly point out a
tender in the new ship construction rules, I would like to offer my ideas.
Towing Spars would take up one mass and be able to tow up to 10 mass per spar.
Obviously you could combine multiple spars for larger ships. In addition the
ship must purchase FTL at double Mass to tow an equal mass of ships. Cost is 3
* Mass. I raise again my idea for Repair Centers. Mass of two. During combat
they act like additional DC centers. During strategic turns they can repair
systems up to 4 points per repair center. However, you must have "points" on
hand in the form of repair material. These can be stored as cargo with a
maximum capacity of five points per mass devoted to repair cargo. These same
points could be used for reloads. Cost for Repair Centers: 4 * Mass.

I'm not sure about this. Seems like "intergalactic tow trucks", just doesn't
"seem right" for my universe.

I like this idea. It could be extended for bases. Give them something else to
do.
