WELL, KNOCK ME OVER WITH A FEATHER!

I have read and seen one hell of a lot of interesting stuff buzzing about
those piranha bugs of mine.

I am really impressed with the ideas put forth here for why here Piranha Bugs,
and how they work!

I can see where there are more than one way for them to go as a species, and
all look nasty!

MY GOD! Migrating swarms following the herds of grazing critters!

(and I knew about the crocs who hang out and wait for the wildebeest herds to
cross the rivers in Africa! DUHHHH???)

THANK Y'ALL!

Migrating swarms might be good candidates to evolve into a hive mind.

The carrying capacity for omnivores would be higher. Probably by an order of
magnitude or two.

G'day,

Why would they be any more likely than any other social insect/hive
group? Personally I've always liked the idea of the mole rats being the first
hive group to evolve a hive mind;)
