More of an SG scale one:

Your rifle jams just as you're about to go into battle, do you:

A. Mutter about "lowest bids" and fix your bayonet. B. Follow the instructions
in field repair manual, section 23b. C. Take it as a sign that you should try
to find somewhere safe to wait out the battle. D. Keep quiet in case the
sergeant blames you.

I certainly hope so, both with more questions, and with the 'aliens' added to
the lists of answers.

Haven't played the K's lately, otherwise 'Turn on a dime and give you nine
cents change...'

Course, I'm shuddering at what the suggestions would be for Phalons. Suffice,
I'd have to say that our personal empire answers should probably wait for the
fleshing out of the canon ones.

Hmm. NSL. They only want you to think you're chasing them. They're toying with
you.

And break out a case of beer for them when they return!

I've put up the four questions so far at:

http://firedrake.org/cgi-bin/quiz.cgi?quiz=gzgverse

Any more suggestions, and answers, could come to me or to the list.

Your ship is pursued by a faster opponent. Do you:
--FTL out, leaving the rest of your squadron to do the best they can
without you

Your rifle jams just as you're about to go into battle. Do you:
--Wave your knife and yell battle cries, until your superior officer
stops
paying attention--after that, you figure you're excused from this action

Your ship is pursuing a slower opponent. Do you:
--decide the red cross on his hull makes a perfect target, and vaporize
him.

Your rifle jams just as you're about to go into battle. What do you say?

--Kismet...

Your ship takes damage. Do you:
--Send out repair teams
--Calmly order a counterattack
--Furiously order a counterattack
--Take evasive maneuvers
--Explode

You are attacked without warning. Do you get upset because
--it's hardly sporting, you're not done with tea yet.
--the attack was sloppily executed--you could have done much better if
your orders permitted it
--you were just making progress with that young lady
--you were carefully studying the Chairman's writings (or at least
that's you claim)
--that means your own sneak attack isn't going to be a surprise after
all

F (Japanese): Smile, because you never liked firearms anyway. Draw your sword
and charge. G (UN): Hold a committee meeting to figure out what to do. H
(Swiss): What is this word, 'Jam'? I (NI): Don't sweat it, because you've got
more. J (FCT): Break out the shotgun. K (LLAR): No big deal. It's not like you
could afford bullets, anyway.

G'day,

> I've put up the four questions so far at:

Umm is your quiz broken or am I?

On the first quiz this morning I score 2.03333333333333333 to prove I'm about
"this" close to being a whinger rather than a liberal (though they did say
women score lower... be interesting to figure out why), but in GZG land
apparently I'm a happy little NSL camper....

Considering I've played NSL about twice in my life I guess I better rethink my
command style and go get some wine in to justify that FSE fleet of mine
;P

G'day again,

Here's a more of a Taswegian slant...

You are attacked without warning. Do you get upset because:
- you'd only just opened that beer!

Your ship is pursued by a faster opponent. Do you:
- laugh, and as you head off to your stations take bets on whether
there'll be enough lifeboats...

Your ship takes damage. Do you:
- get out the bailing twine and work up a good spit...

Your rifle jams just as you're about to go into battle. Do you:
- pull out the one you collected earlier for just such an eventuality,
realise you're dreaming, hit it until it works (stuff this old can still take
the knocks)

Your ship is pursuing a slower opponent. Do you:
- cheer loudly and take bets on how many shots until you sink it or lose
it

Your rifle jams just as you're about to go into battle. What do you say?
- bloody typical!

Cheers

Your squaddies are preparing for their first combat jump. It's a long way from
orbit. What do you yell to encourage them?

- Banzai !
- Das ist ein Befehl !
- You retro-rockets may not work, but there are lots of virgins in
paradise
- Get you bl**d* *ss*s out of there, you f*ck*ing b*st*rds
- It's for the Gloire de la Patrie
- Next stop is Siberia
- Geronimo!
- Who needs retro-rockets ? - (Gurkha)
