FT FAQ.

He he.

Actually, I don't think there *IS* an FAQ currently in existence is there? If
you want to do one feel free...

Yes there is an FAQ. I am the current holder of it. Troudle with it was no one
submitted anything for it.

I was hoping to change that. I want to cover up a few of the gaps and maybe
add a few new sections.

That's probably the better idea. I'm a little swamped right now

(I've got a newspaper to put out.) but I should get some thing out to you
soon.

Oh! You've got it?? Hmmm; maybe you should advertise more. ;-) There
have been a couple of things (that *naturally* I can't remember now!) I would
have liked to have seen put in the FAQ, and would have submitted if I had
known...

Wouldn't it be easier, then, to submit the stuff instead of reinventing the
whole thing?

Is there a FSA (Frequently Supplied Answer :-) for this FAQ? I would be
extremely interested as I was going to ask it myself.

I think 5 turns is a fair rearm time; it's long enought that most fighters
won't get a chance to rearm more than once per game (it would take a minimum
of 10 turns, by my reckoning, for a fighter launch, expend all its endurance,
recover, and rearm before it could fight again, and very few games last over
20 turns). You may, however, want to make make Torpedo Fighters take 8 turns
to rearm.

Take care,

My house rule is to give one deck crew for each hanger bay on a carrier. When
fighters come back on board, deck crews may be assigned to fighters. Each deck
crew rolls a die and if any six comes up, the fighter squadron is reloaded and
ready to go. Squadrons of the same type may be combined while
in the hanger and a squadron must have 4+ fighters to launch again.
