Well, my eleven year old has definitely inherited my Teske Field. First roll
this evening, Joshua launched 8 dice beam fire and did 11 points of damage.
Through double screens.
No, I _don't_ want to talk about the rest of the battle, thank
you very much.
So that would be 3 sixes and 5 fives...
No, it started as one 5 and two 6's (that's three); reroll 5 and 6 (three
more); reroll 6 (we're up to eight now); reroll 6 (ten); reroll 4 (finally we
stop at eleven).

Some strange formatting in your post, it seems... my mailer changed fonts when
I replied. Ah well.
Don't feel bad, Laserlight - this past Saturday I lost five heavy
fighters to a single PDS :-/

You mean after a set of rolls like that, there *was* a 'rest of the
battle'? :>
Sounds like indoctrination of the next generation of real gamers is well
underway.
Ahh yes, at the hands of the tremendously lucky Bryan Ash.:(
I was surprised that he only managed to take out five heavy fighters. He must
be slipping.:)

And against Barry in the second battle. Your CH had quite a bit more PD
firepower, but it somehow took two full turns to kill 5 fighters...
that squadron ended up with a single survivor in each battle :-/

Slipping? I strongly doubt that - he averaged around 1.0 damage per
beam die during that game (the *normal* average is 0.8). Fortunately he didn't
get to fire that many dice until the last two turns, or I would've been wiped
out completely...
