Subject: [Terrain] Ground cloth

A couple of weeks ago I asked for suggestion on making felt look more
realistic. Wandering through Walmart's last night, I discovered a couple
of fabrics by Cranston Print Works that work: 16542-17968 Blender's
Toast
(brownish yellow, with some darker mottling) and 16542-11519 Keepsake
Crackles (a light yellow and white with crackling like dried out mud).
There are also some dark grrens and other colors--I was looking for
Desert so wasn't taking notes on the others. About $3.50 per yard, 45" wide,
also available from JoAnn's Fabrics and others. I haven't been able to find
photos on the Cranston site yet but will post URL if I find it

Have you tried Games Workshop (pthugh! Yuck I actually typed that! Unclean!)
's terain maps. They do them in Desert (called something stupid, but
esentially desert) and they used to do a green one too, but discontinued it,
aparently I wanted one, and GW never make anything for me! They are really
nice, textured and smooth (ideal for sliding minis across)

I will now go and say 12 hail Johns

The green one is still available in Australia. There's 1/2 dozen of
them in the local GW shop in Melbourne.

Grr its a conspiracy! GW hates me! How much would it cost to buy and post two?
(this is serious question, I want two green ones!)

Many thanks, have loaded their page... I had forgotten how much I hate GW:
"Da Trollz lair - A wretched hive of scum and villainy...(with some
extra
scum thrown in.)" As apposed to "E-mail us here"

Anyways I have e-mailed them,

Cheers

Truth in advertising....
