Jon and the list as a whole,
I realize that the Babylon Project RPG and it's Earth Force Source Book, are
no longer being published. However, as a ship combat game it has become
somewhat popular at the local gaming conventions. And I have been approuched
by people that would like to play the game, at the local game shops. So here
is my question. Jon, I have some questions about the rules. I'm sure these
have all been covered before. Is there some sort of erata anywhere?
> Jon and the list as a whole,
I don't actually know, and haven't had any contact with the guys at Wireframe
and Chamaeleon Eclectic since the EFSB job was finished (and I finally got
paid for it... <grin>). Is there anyone else out there who can
help....?
Pprobably the best thing about having done the EFSB rules is the joy of
several people who've obviously seen the rules but not looked at the book
cover (!?) coming up to our tradestand with a smug
"I-know-something-you-don't" look and saying something like <cue whiney
nasal geek-gamer voice> "Have you seen the EFSB, they've really ripped
off Full Thrust..." Their change of expression when I can say "No they didn't,
I wrote it for them..." is quite wonderful to behold....

Not noticing the cover astounds me too. Why its the best...I mean second best
thing about it...

I see Game Designers have their small pleasures too. :-)

You're talking about the UK edition, aren't you, Donald? The poor colonials
only get a pic of CGI'd Omegas on their version..... :-)

Just what did you get on the cover of yours? And why haven't I seen a copy
on e-bay?

Ahh, sorry, I thought your comment was referring to that - the UK
edition (published by Titan under licence) has a rather nice pic (photo, not
painting or CGI) of a sweetly-smiling Ivanova (that is "sweetly" until
she blows your ship to bits....) plus a couple of starfuries.
Not that this really makes up for the fact that Titan made a huge list of
mistakes in their printing, including leaving out the counter sheets
altogether.... :-/
Overall, the US edition is much better to have; after all, you've all got
PLENTY of pics of Claudia to drool over, haven't you....?

Alas, I missed that.

I didn't get that issue myself. It sold like hot cakes around here.
Could maybe send me a private e-mail about where one could fide those
photo's (purely for artistic reasons).
On a slightly more on topic note: if you put together that or any scenario for
EFSB, could you let the list know. Or you could send it to me and I can post a
scenarios page on my site. I should anyway for the ones I created for
convention play.
Babylon 5? Claudia Schiffer was never on Babylo... oh. THAT Claudia?
;)
Obviously our minds are in different, although somehow related, gutters.
