Just an odd thought (I have some other kind?) to the list and Tony at Brigade:

Has anyone on the list have an idea of how big Brigade's Aeronefs are? I
had this flashback type image/thought about if they would work as Space
ships in Full Thrust (Thus giving me an excuse to get some
Brazilian/Argentinean/Peruvian/Chilean ships to do dual service.) I do
not own any Aeronefs and I need another set of rules like I need multiple
holes in my head but they do look very different for a possible Victorian
Space Fleet in FT. And then, if tastes and finances allow.... Volia' a Latina
Fleet in Being.

Gracias,

They'll work fine. Can't give you precise dimensions, but from memory the
'nefs are roughly equivalent in size to the corresponding FT minis, though
somewhat slimmer, being based on sea ship hulls or something like them. Means
that there's nothing really up to SDN size, but plenty
of BB/BC and smaller size classes. Carriers are also problematic, being
more like the very early cruiser conversions than FT fleet carriers.

Go for it! If nothing else, your Latina (LLAR?) fleet will be distinctive...

Just so happens I was looking at the German Aeronefs from Brigade...

Scale-wise, they're 1/1200. As for physical dimensions, many have their

dimesions listed on the web site. E.g., the German Blucher Dreadnought is 85mm
long, and on the smaller end you have the German SA15 Patrol Nef

at 35mm long.

Most Aeronef classes are slightly bigger than their FT equivalent - eg
the Argentinian Moreno battleship is about the same size as a Rabin
Dreadnought from the spaceships range. Some of the models (eventually that
will read 'all') have their physical size listed on our website.

Interesting idea. I'm sure they'd work fine when played against each other,
I'm not sure that fighting 'Nef against 'conventional' FT ships wouldn't look
a bit odd.

It would remind me of one type of Japanese anime vs another type.

Well, since I have some second hand Star Blazers (IIRC that was the name...)
"Fights on" sounds about right!
