Superior Models intends to expand their lines of Starfleet Wars (space combat)
and/or MAATAC (ground combat) miniatures, and want to know what avid
gamers are looking for these days.
What do you think is missing?
Perhaps its more Robotech-like fighters, Galactica-like carriers, or
Space
stations. Or, perhaps more infantry-type miniatures in 1:285 scale (or
larger). Or maybe you just want better packaging, such as lots of different
miniatures at a discounted bulk price.
Whatever it is, feel free to respond back to me or to the mailing list. All
responses will be forwarded to Superior Models. And, if you're not familiar
with what Superior Models currently sells, see

I'd Really like to see a line of Battlestar Galatica style minatures. A full
line with transports, warships, pirates and fighters. Would be real cool if
they closely resembled the actual minatures. You amy also consider "Space
Above and Beyond" and "Starship Troopers" style ships. They care a big
following and a some raelly cool looking ships.

I'd like to see more "low tech" starships ala B5 and the Jovian Chronicles.
e.g Big, blocky hulls with rotating sections crew, visiable sensor arrays, and
spinal mounted weapons, etc.

Not much. 1/285 scale infantry for MAATAC. The RAATAC line. Re-releases
of the games (in the pipe already?). 25mm Scale Starfleet Wars infantry and
vehicles minis for SGII and other skirmish level stuff. I'd really like to see
some 25mm stuff come to think of it, but this probably would entail the most
'rigamarole' in terms of sculpting, molding, and
production. But if the other stuff (1/285 scale, RAATAC...) came along
in a timely manner I'd be happy. The other stuff can come in its own good
time. Heck, maybe by the time Superior is ready, I'll be able to sculpt 'em
(fat chance).
