I'm looking for ship minis with an unusual configuration: about 3-4
times as wide as they are long and ideally something that's reminiscent of a
flying wing. Ideas?

The Raider (pirates? Whatever they call them in B5) fighters for B5 (the big
ones, not the Fleet Action stuff) might work for smaller ships. You might also
look for some 1/114th scale models of B2's and older
Flying wings and kit bash them.

Galoob Star Wars B Wings Some Evil Empire(tm) Necrons Just the wings off of a
plastic model, cut to match up, and
panel-scratched
and detailed Some Silent Death, but I can see images, not names Blocky ships
that you can cut the engines off, and fly sideways (NSL?)
Some of the FASA Romulans (good luck ;->= )

Sorry, rambling...

You might want to try some of the Aerotech miniatures used for Battletech.
They are way out of print.

Beyond these, I don't know of any others.

I still have a few from buying a job lot back in 2000.

Actually, I just received payment for one lot I sent to a bloke in Ireland, 3
years ago. Better late than never.

If people are interested in any of the range, I'll go through what I have
left. Not many, I'm afraid, but some.

Thanks you for reminding me Alan, I've located some older Stardate Romulan War
Eagles and Klingon D7s that are cluttering up my unpainted stash of
miniatures. It's amazing what you find as you pack.

I have most of those, but I can't think of any SD model that'd match the

"3-4 times wide as long". The closest I can think of are the Saucers and

they're circular :-(

However, if you want a flying wing you can't go that much wrong with the

Renegade Legion "Pilum"-class Interceptor, now available from C-in-C
(don't
recall the link off-hand, but you'll find it on Star Ranger's site
www.star-ranger.com).
