I've got the map on the wall of my office cubicle! I've used it to build a 2d
star map of my group's "Star Empires". The Domination of the Jhi now occupies
12 star systems!!

Re: Universe
AS one of the designers of Universe, it pleases me to know that some parts of
that game have proved useful over the years.

I'd always thought that was where the 2300 stuff came from, (I still own
Universe, though I'm having to get REAL careful with that map:) as the "life
zones" and the star chart were very close matches to each other. (Course TSR
came out with the World Builders Guide book, which uses the same mapping
system, they bought the rights to "Universe" so go figure:)

The equipment list was all mine, if I remember right. I was hired by SPI to
help design that game, and it was my first gig in the game business.

Chris: I use the planet maps and star map for my Mekton games, and the
equipment list was good too.
