Ok, I've got a preliminary web page up for the star maps, for all of the
distinquished memebers of this list to pick apart.
In the meanwhile, I am frantically working on filling all the many orders for
stars for the various empires.
I lost track of which title graphic we settled on, if it is a different one I
will be happy to change it.
I used the off-white background color.
I tried to have targets at the start of the paragraphs.
Please give me input so as to make this in line with the other pages.

Say what did you create those beutiful maps on?
By the way: Anyone using windows, who wants to print the map out, I used
"Image Paint" That comes with windows 98 and 95. It takes 20 sheets!
Now I have to assemble the pieces...8P

With the permission of Nyrath, I am going to look into having it printed out
on poster-sized paper, either
as is or with political labels. If it is a reasonable price (say, up to $20

I just realized that if I had zeroed the margins, I think I could have reduced
it to 12 pages.

Are you refering to the 3d map or the 2d map? I was wondering about the 2d
maps too... I love this HUGE 2d map. I can't wait for political map!

I used StereoStar to make *all* the maps in that web site. It is a versatile
program. It is strained a bit though making the huge maps.
I did embellish the maps with Adobe Photoshop, though. StereoStar can make
*.bmp files only. In m15nom.gif I used Photoshop to make the legend
The astropolitical map, version one, mod zero, is up at the encyclopedia
starmap page,

Feel free to critisize and comment on it.
It only has the major groups as yet. I'm working on assigning and putting all
the requested groups on it.
Whoever is in charge, please assign "offical" colors for the new empires. I
need them for the map.
And could anybody tell me where the Kra'vak and Sava'su incursion are located?
I'll upload my unofficial official colors to my angelfire site shortly. It's
your spreadsheet, with additions.

447 kB! i've had lack-of-memory errors from a win nt box with virtual
memory; i logged in on a second workstation just to see your map, and that
moaned too. is there any way it can be made smaller? perhaps borken up into
several sheets?

After having several copy shops and print services quote me $50-$70 per
copy for Nyrath's map, I leaned on one of my customers for a favor. He hasn't
seen the file so I don't have an exact quote, but it appears likely that I
should be able to get a limited number of maps on a ONE TIME ONLY basis for
about US$18--possibly a bit less (not including shipping to you).
If you are ready to sign in blood that you want one, let me know OFF LIST
