I just came into posession of a hunded-odd Stardate 3000 spaceship figs (c.1978) What fun!! These ships are really great and will hold up well as alien warships! I have 2-3 of each of the larger ships and 12 or so of each of the fighter types.

Got TWO such hyperspace submarines!! (one each of two types!) And I might very well be tempted to part with some for the right barter! In fact, I've got 20 human ships primed for painting, for me to take to GenCon. If I've got the time, I'll paint about as many of the alien ships. Sounds like you've got a bit more in the way of the large ships. I was planning on painting the humans in a similar scheme as the Earthforce in B5 (they would make good pre-Mimbari War B5 ships). What colours are you using to paint them? For the aliens, I was thinking an oily black wash over a rust orange. Still not sure yet...
