If you have not played the Star Wars Miniatures game I strongly suggest it. It
converts easily to the RPG and I have posted rules for FT conversions on
Mark's CSD.UWM site. The Star Wars Miniatures game moves very quickly, has
realistic weapons ranges and a well designed system to incorporate The Force
and vehicles rules, without all the cheese of some other miniatures games....
It is on a squad level scale but I've operated company level engagements that
went very quickly. A friend of mine and I have developed an Epic scale game of
this from one of West End Games first products. Let me know if you are
interested. Phil P.

AND, like Full Thrust, you can pick up cheap MicroMachines! I've got fifteen

stormtrooper sets? I can't find them at the local store that carries
the figures.

I feel like the fellow who can't seem to get ogre mini's...

Oh, the utter irony of it all.

*I* was the guy who couldn't seem to get Ogre minis.

Galoob has a weird distribution system for their packs. Some stores are filthy
rich with stormtroopers. Others will be Ewok heavy.

In Madison, at the moment, Toys-R-Us are massively heavy on
Stormtroopers. WallMart seems to have all the new stuff (Rebel fleet troops,
Imperial fleet troops and Sand People).

Check every store around you. Another good bet is to check stores outside of
your city whenever you get a chance. And BUY the figures you need as soon as
you see them.

This goes for MicroMachines that can be used for Full Thrust as well, of
course.

I've got bunches of the Star Wars 25mm minis. I also used some from the
Battletech that looked like some Star Wars minis. The boxed set was a whole
lot cheaper than the 3-to-a-package set. This was years ago though so I
don't know what's out there now. I have seen some Star Wars blister packs
(Wookies, Sand people, heroes, etd) and I think West End Games has put out a
scenario package for Star Wars. Our group played and I thought it was a
blast, particularly when you set up the 3-D affects. However, most in
our group thought it was too hard to hit a target. One guy even converted
Warhammer 40K to Star Wars. That game was quick and fun. We also used my Star
Wars minis with Star Grunt. That was also a blast. The same guy who did the
Warhammer conversion did the set up for Star Grunt. Speaking of scenarios, is
there any plans to develop some for Full
Thrust/DS2/Stargrunt?
It's hard for me to get the time to develop scenarios so I tend to like those
already developed.
