Even parity tech can be spoofing fun in a game. Just got some
Neu-Socialist type Fabian Mech Inf shot up (ran into Ralnai equivalent
of armor and PA plus jet pack lights in my impromptu sector) but the spoofing
part was the Ralnai player spoofed both the indigenous New BoPaul troops, us
Merc's, and our incoming force to arrest the scientific leader of the research
plant we were guarding for 'Crimes against Humanity" with simple repeaters
that 1)convinced the populous and the
Planetary Defense Force/Government that we were planning a coup (!) and
2) that there were ITM (Imperial Terran Marines) in the scenario (land
and space) in large numbers - which affected response from our back-up
at the spaceport ("Whose side are they on?") and the PDF ("they are working
with the Lizards!") by sowing far more variables then the Fabians had
anticipated. [In Starguard indecision or changing where someone is going can
be fatal as the game in over and done sometimes in mere game minutes.]
