The figs are great. Are they scratch builds, or are they conversions?

Be nice in a 40K-type game instead of psychic powers they have Girl
powers instead!

They're in the latest GZG catalogue.

Yes. Make Huge Piles of Cash; Sing Bad Harmonies; Make Sane people Despair;
Wear Stupid Platform Shoes; Keep Tabloid Editors Happy. Gaaah. If I was a
Space Marine I'd run screaming for the hills.

i thought of including a list but thought I'd never get away with it, the PC
police at work are pretty powerful!

It is actually an autoshotgun (but could equally well be an over/under
ACR/GL) that the sculptor did specially for these figs - it hasn't been
used elsewhere (yet!!). Jeez, we're having a serious discussion of the
weaponry on a set of figures
based on a one-line bad joke....

Now all we need are the rules....:)

Y'know, this is even scarier than the subject matter.....:(

Something to make this thread interesting, enjoy!

Make Huge Piles of Cash: Use in CC ranged fire. Target unit makes an
immediate morale check at +1. If the unit fails, it is suppressed as
they throw money at the Spice Marines. Sing Bad Harmonies: All 5 spice marines
must be present in one squad for this power to work. The Spice Marines start
singing in harmony, firing
their voices as a HEL/1 at the nearest vehicle. Treat as a Point fire
weapon. Make Sane people Despair: All 5 spice marines must be present in one
squad for this power to work. They start abusing an enemy squad in range.
Treat as a sniper attack with FP:d12,I:d8. Anyone failing the impact roll is
not killed, but counts as wounded due to falling into a deep meloncholy (sp).
Wear Stupid Platform Shoes: The Spice Marines only move 4"/d4x2".
Keep Tabloid Editors happy: All 5 spice marines must be present for this power
to work. They call in an airstrike upon an enemy position. It uses 3 x 3"
templates & has I:d6. Any unit taking casualties receives 2 suppression
markers, as the troops read the tabloids to find out about their enemy.

For the player to juse any of these powers they must first sing a minimum of 2
verses of any "Spice Marines" song during the turn in which it is to be used.
Should be some kind of bonus if they dance like them also.

Great news! You can send the additions to the PAU, the Dutch, etc., later on,
I just want to get the Israelies and OUDF scheduled for the
summer. I have some items I will be sending to you - a large tank,
some NSL Fleigstrumjaegers (rapelling from a VTOL!) and a couple sets of tank
crew half figures with jerry cans and hatches and hatch covers.

Dear KR,

The Spice Marines are actually one of Jon's sculptors ranges, I have done the
same deal as I have with Jon for them and his fantasy range which is rather
nice too. Though wether we need more Dungeon figures on the market is an
altogether different matter.

The Aussies and Israelis are now ready to send. Do you want the new PAU, NSL
light infantry, Free Dutch and assorted odds and ends at the same time or
shall I send these later once Jon has them catalogued?

All being well the parcel should leave here Wednesday morning airmailed to
yourself.

I do apologise for the delay and will try to be more organised in future.

I'm still awaiting the tank masters to send to you myself. Having spoken to
the bloke who made them he says another month before he has them good enough
to send to you for production.

All the best,

Nic
