Okay, you asked for it. ;-)

GW "Squats" can be had on eBay, for a premium most of the time. I have seen
the little buggers go for over $15 each! I got a quantity last year for

about $2 each but the norm is closer to $4-5 per fig.

The "squats" in "Exoarmor" (i.e. power armor) routinely go for quite a bit
more. There are two auctions going on right now for squads of five and the
bids are at about $50

   and

power armor for their squats. But even if I

did, those prices should scare even the most stout hearted dwarf lord away!

Anyway...

I just posted another doc I have been keeping for myself the last several
months. Basically it is a catalog of alternate sources for space dwarves,
space ogres and space giants.

It can be views (with images) at
http://home.swbell.net/grog1/sg2/alternate_figs.htm

I hope it helps save you some $$$.

And if anyone finds some good power armor troops that will pass for space
dwarves please give me a shout.

Oh and yeah, don't ANYONE feel bad about buying "squats" these days. None
of your money will go to GW anyway. ;-)

BTW, what is the top level URL for your site? Liked the Stargrunt hose rules
you posted a short time ago, this is nice, too. And I prefer to have one link
to store rather than a collection.

What site? :-)

I don't have one. I just put those two docs on the web yesterday. I don't
expect to have the time to do a site anytime soon either, sorry. If someone
whats those docs (or the info they contain in any shape form or fashion) to
post on the web in a better format they are welcome to them. But, as they are
now is about as good I they are going to get from me as I just don't

have the time or inclination to do more. Sorry.

G'day,

Well Nic at Eureka had space dwarves under his 100 club and I've always
thought that a head off those put into a modified The Hardlove Steam Driven
Impervious Suit might just work.... but I was thinking more from the lines
of my fantasy army rather than my sci-fi one.
