Possible Spacer/Habitat Dweller terms for planet-dwellers....

Mudfoot? Dirtsider? Wellie (ie: "those that live down the Well....")?

Can't think of anything offhand for Colonial planet dwellers vs. those left
back home.....

It would depend a lot on why people stayed behind and/or why people
colonized someplace else in the first place.

If Earth has become some smog-covered planet with almost toxic
atmosphere:

zombies, vampires, ghosts, grayface - all referring to the paleness of
Caucasian people who never see the Sun.

...just for example.

Spacers OR Colonists might call them "Bounders" (Earthbound) or Earthworms
(Worms, Wormies)

Spacers Might call Earthies OR Colonists anything mentioned above or Grubs

Colonists might call Terrans Terriers or Stayers
or Left-behinds (LB's, Lefties, etc. Mind you, being left-handed, I
don't advocate this line of thinking) etc.

G'day,

In the background fluff I've been mucking around with they're called 'Omers
(mangled from Homers.... and I apologise in advance if I've just inadvertently
stepped on an international vocab minefield)

Cheers
