I just noticed something about B5. Normally I always root for the Villains in
SF. SW, ST, it didn't really matter. They had cooler gear and were generally
not a happy bunch. In B5 I am completely turned around. I DESPISE the Clark
administration and the Centauri Empire. (Except Londo and Vir, of course.) The
Shadows are way cool but I'm not rooting for them. I guess JMS must really be
doing his job...... The Narn ARE the coolest of the lot however...

Well, they're not.:) Leann and I spent a good portion of our vacation watching
old episodes. In light of the more recent episodes, the Narn come over as
deeply spiritual while the Centauri (particularly Lando) appear crass and

I just printed out some of the B5 jpeg ship sheets by mww, superb - you
wouldn't guess they are 72dpi when they come out of the inkjet.
The criminal, power hungry, genocidal, treacherous Narn ships look
particularly good in their red hue - while the noble Centauri in their
curved vessels are also excellent.
I must get the time to try out these B%-FT rules next.

Ha! The Narn are Barbaric Scum who deserve to be exterminate. They brought it
upon themselves. They are not Civilised, as the Centauri are.
Oh! Despair and Horror! Have the Centauri not killed enough even for their
sick and twisted tastes! We stand here, oh friends on the brink of Armageddon
with the great enemy scratching at the door and the Centauri want to play WORD
games... They shall find, I think that the Narn are far from defeated and a
reckoning shall soon come.........

The only good Centari is one eating vaccum! Without being a spoiler I
hope they get everything they deserve++. Harking back to mawwiage one
only has to look at Vir's fianc to realise they your average Centari is
a raging megalomaniac with genocidal tendencies. They are nearly as bad
as those mandible mashing kra'vak who are also best seen floating around
in the debris of their recently missiled ship! Oh well I really must stop
foaming at the mouth.

Hmm, anyone willing to take bets on that?
Look what happens to Centauri Prime even after 17 years of building up
defences gainst the shadows (or whoever).
A Narn, Drazi, and other non-aligned world fleet might just come pay

Ah.. Another fan of the Centauri. The Narn's merely appear spiritual because
they are primative and superstitious. The Centauri will try to teach them
culture and civilisation (after all, being a peace loving race, they can
ignore the fact that the Narn's started a war which cost the loves of hundreds
of innocent Centauri).
