The links were posted to the old images on Jon's site - a useful link
till the new ones get up. In case anyone needs to see some 25mm vehicles, I'll
list quickly what I own and I can get digitized images of if anyone wants.
Drop me mail offlist at tomb@bitheads.com and let me know which ones interest
you, I'll get them digitized as soon as is feasible and get you the image. I
don't have most of these photographed yet, so I'll be answering requests by
borrowing a camera and taking pics. One day, when I have my own camera....
sigh.

Same here, for anyone that needs it. I have:
GZG VTOL transport GZG VTOL gunship GZG GEV Combat car (a Hammer's Slammers
combat car" GZG GEV jeep
Grendel Kryomek anti-grav tank
Grendel Kryomek anti-grav missile launcher
Grendel Kryomek anti-grav APC/scout vehicle
Grendel Kryomek anti-grav howitzer
The Grendel vehicles came in three varieties: anti-grav, wheeled,
tracked. The only difference was the bit that you glued onto the bottom.

If anyone is still interested I have some pictures of my vehicles for DS2

at the bootom of this post. I hope this helps.

G'day Donald,

Yes and No. Derek will (occasionally) be sending messages to the list from
home, but its still too expensive on our measly budget for him to download
email everyday (the phone calls add up for a start) so I'll be taking it
home from work for him to read at night. Sounds tortured but it works;)
Cheers

Beth, someone ought to implement what we have in the States - free local
calling and free internet access. That way it doesn't cost Derek and you a
dime. I wish the rest of the world had this. I've made more friends
internationally using the Internet than I did when I was just meeting
different people in my city. I put internet access just below global health in
importance. Maybe someday.

G'day Peter,

I have heard murmurings that it is beginning to appear on the mainland (free
net access that is), which means it should get to Tassie in about 50 yrs.
Thanks for the kind thoughts
Beth

We have charged local calls - about 10c US per call, no time limit on
any call made the same day. So a continuous connection gets charged 10c every
midnight. And a local call can be anything up to 100 km away, (50 miles)
depending on where you are, it's not just the local area by US standards. But
Free ISPs? None that I know of, even here in the civilised part of Australia,
let alone the various islands, such as Lord Howe, Norfolk, Christmas Island
etc. Plus Tasmania.
I suppose I should explain the joke: evevryone forgets Tassie. We live
"Ass end of the world..." I had to laugh out loud. In the short film
distributed on the 'Net called "Troopers" (a parody of "Cops" and "Star Wars")
one of the Storm Trooper's says of Tatooine, "Some call this the, uh, Ass End
of Space, but I call it home..." If you haven't seen this (4 seperate
downloadable files) you MUST. It is a riot. Puts a new spin on what happened
to Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. There is a particularily effective subtle MST3K
joke in there as well!

The Star Wars parody film is called "Troops".
The actual quote is delivered with a midwestern accent and sounds very typical
of "Cops":
"Most people would call this the ass end of space, but I like the small town
feeling you get around here. I mean, we know everybody. EVERYBODY! And I feel
I can really make a difference here."
If you haven't seen it, download it! Now!!
The URL is: http://theforce.net/troops/
The URL for the script is: http://theforce.net/troops/t_script.shtml
Thanks Allan, I was going from memory 2 years ago. That was perfect!
I am still giggling over these films.

I showed Troops to a friend of mine who did a tour as an Air Force MP. She
fell out of her chair laughing. Apparently the scriptwriters know how cops
talk while on those long, boring patrols.
If all you have is a modem connection, then leave it downloading overnight.
Everyone Must See This Right Now.
