Anyone tried using the Ogre line of miniatures for Dirtside or Stargrunt?

Thanks

Brian Bell has used the Ogre figures for a Dirtside game at last year's ECC
convention.

This link has some photos from his event.

He also has used a number of GZG figures with the defender's position.

I use a few I got many years ago. I want an Ogre mkIV for my NSL forces, just
because:>

I see no problem with using Ogre minis for DS2. They are about the
right size to go along with the other 1/285th (or is it 1/300) scale
stuff I have from GZG.

I've never had any luck with the Ogres themselves, but my largest DSII forces
are made up of Ogre miniatures.

I use everything pretty much as it is in Ogre -- HVYs become Size 3 MBTs
in
DSII -- with the exception of the GEVs and the Light Tanks.

I use the standard GEVs as APCs, use the LGEVs as scout vehicles (or tank
killers, for my PE figs), and have converted the GEVPCs into AA and Light
Artillery carriers using Brigade turrets, some old GW Epic pieces, and some
plastruct.

Aha! My first post, and i get to contribute to an ongoing thread Yes! Yes! OK
so my plan with the Ogre minis is to use the "Raptor" GEV's as VTOL battle
taxis, and the "Gremlin" LGEV's as CASEVAC
vehicles and a Command/Control element. How sneaky is that, having a
single model painted
differently than the rest of the CASEVACs to be the C/C? Makes it a lot
more difficult to decide to take it out, that'll be for sure...
