I noticed that on p. 29 of SGII, in the listings of vehicle-mounted
weapons, there is no reference to SLAM (Salvo LAunched Missile packs) systems,
unlike DSII. It seems like SLAMs would be very useful against infantry. How
about giving them a Base Impact Value of D10, and an Impact Value multiplier
of double the size class (thus making them not quite as effective as DFFGs)?

SLAMs in DSII have a minimum range (is it 30"?) that is actually larger than
many SGII tabletops. That's probably why they weren't
included. Count them as off-table artillery.

Where are you seeing a minimum range? I must have missed that. Page 30 says
"If a SLAM is fired at CLOSE range, it may hit ONLY the target it is aimed
at." but other than that I didn't see any restrictions on minimum ranges.

One thing to note, a SLAM would most likely be an area affect weapon in the SG
scale. Its a Just like a 70mm Rocket pack if understand the sytem
right.

Actually SLaM range bands are 12"/24"/36", and they don't have a
minimum range. Check page 28 for range bands, weapon description on page 9,
and further text on page 36.
