Subject: SGII EW rules clarification

Because of the eratta regarding the fact that a unit can actually be
reactivated and fire twice during a game turn.....could someone out there
please clarify the following. Scenario: I have a combat squad containing an EW
grunt. During my activation I activate that squad, use two actions as normal
and my EW goes active. During my opponents next activation I use up all three
EW counters trying to jam his communications. Which means my EW is now
inactive

Question: Can I reactivate that squad during this same game turn using a

plattoon leader communicating actions to;

a) initiate fire combat, move etc.

b) get 3 more EW counters.

I know the rules say otherwise in the second last paragraph, left
column, page 19.......
"Whenever one of these EW tasks is attempted, it costs the EW unit one of its
EW markers from its stack; when all three are used up, (no
further tasks may be attempted by that unit until it is re-activated
next game turn)".

If the answer is yes to a) then would the line I have placed in brackets

be replaced by (no further EW tasks may be attempted by that unit until
it is re-activated next game turn).

If the answer is also yes to b) then would the line I have placed in brackets
be replaced by (no further tasks may be attempted by that unit
until it is re-activated)

If the answer is no to a) and b) I get to bash a rules lawyer

Yes to (a), as for any other squad, but no to (b) - EW markers are a
finite resource per turn. Rules lawyers should always be bashed as a matter of
principle......
