I wasn't trying to sound critical. I think multiptle tables is a nifty idea
for a con. You would just have to synchronize them, that's all. This idea
could also apply to other games as well. You could have multiple Panzer Leader
games tied together with common air power or off board artillery. Of course,
you'd have to have more than the 2 players that signed up for my Panzerblitz
tournament at the last con I was at to make it work.

AAAAAAAAAhhh! I can't wait for this type of game!
As a matter of fact I am in the process of making a set of masters so that I
can cast lots and lots of modular starship/starbase terrain (corridors,
walls, etc.)...as well as writting my own rules!
Now if "FMA Skirmish" were released, maybe I can just concentrate on the
terrain... ;-)

It was run on Saturday morning and was the PsiWar and Warlock events. Mike
used some of the Anisty science fiction corridors for the Warlock corridors
and decks. It was a heavy box of terrain he brought for the event!

Well, this kind of thing HAS been done before. ;->=
Even my little Aliens game, using the LEG's board game, does capture a nice
cramped fire fight, albeit VERY simply. By the way, once again, I'd like to
declare it was not my idea; I saw it done for a Denver Genghis Con many years
ago.
I always wanted to try making some 3-D Ashanti decks, in 15mm. I even
had
dreams of putting them on cheap plastic shelves, so they could be 3-D
all the way. Some of you may have seen Space Hulk done this way at GenCon,
though that was standard cardboard situated on five levels of lighting grates.
Oh, I guess that's similar to what you're discussing, too...
Oh, as a side item, I think I know why usually non-gaming females can
accept the board game. If current pop psych is right, the fact that you are
cooperating, rather than competing, makes this more in keeping with the
feminine side. Not that they don't giggle maniacally when blowing up or
toasting a bug.

Here Brian Burger makes just about all our 15mm scenery. He's been busy
designing some new buildings and such and is doing some great work with
printouts.
I've started working on 25mm scenery and what I'm working with first is
Microtactix's Dirt Cheap Starships (www.microtactix.com). It's $18 US for the
PDF file but it gives you everything you need to make a full starship. All you
need to expand is to copy our more of hte corridors and such. I'm planning on
putting it on thin grey card stock to give it some colour then painting in
details. If you're on a budget, both weight and money wise, I think this is a
good way to go.

Well, given our own 'Germ Warfare' and Reverisco's freebie downloads, I'm not
certain I'd go that way. However, if it's the same stuff I saw in the dealer's
room at GenCon, it finishes up much nicer than I thought from the web site.
I still don't have a lot of luck with paper 'stuff', though I'd printed out
some of McEwan's one time, and one of my operators saw it, and darned if he
didn't go ahead and do a fair job of cut/fold/paste.

Well, thank you - I will be making the printable images available on my
website Real Soon Now.
I've got four sheets done so far, with long shipping containers, two types
of smaller ones, a hexagonal-sided cannister/tank, and a whole load of
signs and hazard markers. They're all nominally 15mm, but containers &
signs are pretty universal - a small 25mm container works great as a big
15mm container, or vice versa in the case of mine.
Like I said, I'll be uploading them to my website soon (but don't hold your
breath...):>
