SGII, close combat

Subject: SGII, close combat

SGII question. In close combat is the defending unit passes its reaction test,
but then

decides to fall back, does it still loose a confidence level? Query was raised
during a recent game and I would like second
opinion/confirmation.

Hi John,

No, the loss of CL is a result of the failed test only. In your instance they
squad would be falling back in "Good Order"; a controlled withdrawal.
