I just wanted to let everyone know that the new version of the Phalon public
beta test rules are online. You can find these rules on my web site at:
http://sg2.hyperbear.com
Just click on the "Bugs Don't Surf" link on the left.
I have included both the full 1.2 version (which now has a table of contents),
and an update document for those who already have version 1.0 or 1.1. All
documents are available in 8.5" by 11" paper size and A4 paper size, in RTF
format or Adobe PDF format.
---
Just got around to reading the new version.
Looks good. The only edit comment is to add "*" to the impact values on pg13.

Thanks, Brendan!

I looked at page 13 on both the A4 version and the 8.5" by 11" version (the
page numbers get out of whack due to the page size difference) and I didn't
see anything that required the "*" added to the impact values.
Support pulsers have to be set to FP D8, Impact D10* in order to get the
asterisk (as per page 12). The "Small Arms Impact Die" examples don't have
support pulsers set to FP D8.
Also on page 13 are the heavy weapons, but they don't usually have asterisks
beside them because doubling the damage for a major hit is part of the heavy
weapon rules in the SG2 rule book.
If I'm missing something, please let me know and I'll correct it right away.
Just a sense of completeness. If it's a Point Fire weapon, I like seeing a "*"
as a reminder that you're trying to blow up big things instead of lots of
little things.
