Sorry Jon,
Some of you may know or have heard about eM-4 miniatures. Well, if
you haven't or even if you have, you may not realize that this line is the
former Grenadier Future Warriors line revived! There are 99 minitures in their
line now, and three sets can be purchased already painted!
The Future Warriors line includes figures that look remarkable like that
of the marines from the second Aliens movie - right down to their pulse
rifles and all.
If you have access to internet web sites, you really should check them
out at: http://www.em4miniatures.com Their unpainted miniature catalog
has an extensive list of all minitures except the new aliens and the new swat
figures. These guys are the perfect size and proportion for use with Stargrunt
2 and the SG2 line of power armored figures produced by GZG. They are the true
scale 25mm figure. They are cheap (compared to GW) at
$1.50
each or 1 UK pound per figure.
Just thought I would share.
...more like an old 28mm line ;-)

Hmm, have they bought the old moulds, or are these just leftovers? Do you
know?

No, absolutely not. They are rather heavy 28mms. In my opinion they mix rather
badly with real 25mms, I am sad to say. My first games of SG was using these.
Mark Copplestone sells some new versions, as he sold the rights to the old
ones, at:

Actually, they're significantly bigger and bulkier than GZG miniatures, and
comparable to, say, the GW imperial guard figs. Still, they're nice figs, and
I got a full drawer of them somewhere;)
I took some pictures recently, will scan 'm sometime soon.
Cheers,

Scott, thanks for that data. I saw, IIRC, a notice on TMP about that.
It was strange - I have some of these bought second hand from BADDAWG6,
Again IIRC, but never expected to see more of them then "boom, I'm back"
- talk about weird. Next thing you know is that they will bring back
Jack Scruby figures... Oh yeah, they did.
Talk about retro figures... <grin>
