Subject: SG2: Beginner's questions

I've only played the game once, so if the answer is RTFM, well, just put
that in personal e-mail.

1) After failing a reaction test, you can't take that same test again until
the next game turn. So, if you fail the reaction test to start a charge, you
can't attempt further charges that turn. If you succeed in a reaction test,
may you repeat it (eg. charge on subsequent activations)?

2) Is there a limitation to how many times a unit may be activated in one game
turn? Example: Company commander activated. Transfers to platoon commander,
who transfers to two squads. a) Can those squads also receive transfers from
the Company commander in his second action? b) Can the platoon commander
transfer again to the squads during his normal activation?

3) Are guns limited to firing once per activation or once per game turn
?

4) Does a vehicle mounted infantry support weapon roll three dice (Support
firepower, quality die, fire control die)?

5) What is considered normal armor for a building or terrain feature?

Yes. It doesn't say you can't. It would usually be a carrying out a FOLLOW
THROUGH (see p.43) after a Close Assault.

No.

Yes.

Yes.

This is an Errata on p.33, it should read: "NO WEAPON MAY BE FIRED MORE THAN
ONCE PER ACTIVATION."

> 4) Does a vehicle mounted infantry support weapon roll three dice

No, it rolls two dice: Quality Die and Support Firepower Die. Infantry support
weapons do not use the vehicle's fire control system.

Whatever you like! But see the table on p.56. Terrain features (other than
buildings) don't count as having armour, they provide either hard or soft
cover. A hill would block the line of sight so you cant fire at a unit behind
a hill (see p.11).

Hope that helps
