Whoever said "Only God can make a tree" obviously hadn't tried it. Twist
together a few strands of florist's wire, glue it to a washer, paint it, glue
on leaves, and you're done. The difficulty is that my trees are so realistic,
their leaves are falling... I put white glue on the branches, then dipped them
in ground foam "turf". I'm thinking
to spray them with either hairspray or a spray adhesive--any better
ideas?

I used contact cement on my last batch of trees. It seemed to work
much better than white glue, although they haven't had much (any ;-)
use yet. I am planning to glue the bases to flocked areas of felt, with pins
to make the trees easily removed from the wooded area. This will allow me to
roll up the woods during transport and have the woods conform to hills, etc.

I'll let you know how well the contact cement holds up to gaming.

Cheers,

G;day,

I used a similar method and found you had to varnish to give them any long
term "stick" they will eventually lose their leaves over time (ours last about
5yrs), but then you can just redunk.

There might be some useful ideas in the thread "[SGII][DSII] Can't
see the forest for the..." started 1/1 this year by John Crimmins.
Could be a chance to try Roger's archive?
