SG - point fire question

Probably the latter. It's one of those weapons that was mentioned in the
flavor text, but not in the rules. It's not a GAC, by description and
function, it's more of an MDC/1.  I don't see it being very good against
a group of infantry. An individual trooper, however...splat.

SGII, pg 67 - Is the L23A2 HVAT railgun supposed to have an impact of
d12*, or just d12 as listed? I'd like to know whether it uses small arms vs
point targets or heavy weapon vs point target impact values.
