Vaccheads & Mudmonkeys,
I've just updated & corrected the blank FTFB1, KV & PH Ship Sheets I've got at
my site. They're now working here:
http://wind.prohosting.com/~warbard/ft.html
(The SV sheet turned out to be trashed; I'll re-scan it soon.)
Also, I've got the Stargrunt II Data Cards scanned & available, as well as a
modified sheet that has three Squad Cards & one Vehicle Card instead of one
each like in the back of the book. Your target is here:
http://wind.prohosting.com/~warbard/sg2play.html
They all work AFAIK, so check them out. Easier than saving your quarters
for a trip to the photocopy place! (Jon/GZG gave me permission to post
these several years ago; the FT ones have been up but the SG2 stuff never got
done until now...)
Also, a request for visitors to my site: I'm having trouble debugging the CSS;
the main content (on the tan background) should be appearing beside the dark
menu bar, but on many broswers it's appearing only below the menu bar, and I
cannot replicate this error on my machine, in any of the four broswers I've
got. If you get this error, could you please drop me a note
w/ broswer/OS/screen res noted? Thanks!
Any CSS gurus in the house?
At first look things were low, I set my font down one notch and it all
aligned. I see about 3 different font sizes in the text, and no pictures.

I made this a note to the group because of one point: so far, the only 404 I
got was the Sa'vasku ship bits, but that's because the FULLTHRUST.NET site is
mostly unavailable. There's a place holder page indicating a
re-write. Some sites being down make you sad, some frustrated. Then
there are those so seemingly necessary, that their absence makes you scared.
Brian, using Netscape 7.01 with Java/Javascript disabled on Windoze
XP(can't think of any other special info), the only format problem I have is
that the Roy Batty quote bleeds down over the start of 'Full Thrust is Ground
Zero Games' excellent miniatures game of starship combat. I've got
a...'
When I tried a print on the blanks sheets, I couldn't get them to fit in the
page, not even with Netscape's maximum reduction to 30%. As I have this
problem from time to time, perhaps another lister can make suggestions as to
browser settings on my part.
Thanks, Brian, and to anyone offering tips to me!

Can't replicate here with: IE 5.01 IE 5.5 IE 6 Opera 5.12 Opera 6.06 Opera
7.23 Netscape 4.8 Netscape 6.2.3 Netscape 7.1 Mozilla 1.5 Firebird 0.7 all
running on Win XP
I would hazard a guess at the problem being confined to Mac IE5 which is a bit
fussier about side by side floats than other browsers. Either that or browsers
with no CSS support at all. However, I don't
have enough experience with the Konqueror/Safari family to know
whether they'd also be likely to give problems here.

Um, I guess so.
You do have a problem with the Blade Runner quote. You've set the height of
the dark grey top strip at 100px but the text takes more room than that. IE
buggily ignores the 100px and expands the top strip, other browsers correctly
honour the 100px and so the text spills out over the boundary and onto the
lighter background below. I'd suggest removing the 100px height altogether.
Apart from that the only errors are that you've reused id="changed" within the
page, but IDs are supposed to be unique. Use class instead; and the inline
style on line 32 of the HTML has width: 100; height: 100; with no units. In
CSS all lengths apart from zero must have a unit.
cheers,
I get a display error with Mozilla 1.6 on Win2K
