I'm in the middle of writing some dogfight rules at the moment and need some
help.
I'm after some valid dogfight maneuvers to include and was wondering if anyone
could help with suggestions. I currently have: VIFF (effectively air brakes)
Tight turns Evade
Any other suggestions?

Vertical Rolling Scissors Barrel Roll Vertical Break (tight turn in vertical)
"Split S" (ie roll inverted and do a half loop down) Sideslip Unload "Retard
Defence"
With hi-technology, add
Parthian ( reverse direction so now flying (and shooting) backwards, a
sort of super-viff, slows you down something chronic)
There's another manoever that the super-manoeverable aircraft
(experimental
US/European and the Russian SU-27/30/33/35/etc series) demonstrate - but
I don't know what the name is. It's got to do with pointing the nose of the
aircraft in a different direction than the direction of flight, without
changing the actual flight vector. So, the aircraft can point it's nose, say,
15 deg vertically and 5 deg to the port, to get a better firing position for
missiles or guns, but not change the actual direction travelled.

I believe it's called "Super Cobra", but I could well be wrong.

This has all the basics.

Another good primer on WWII style ACM

has animations

Immelmann.
Classic maneuver named for Max Immelmann. It is basically a 1/2 loop and
with a correction at the end. Changes your direction, bleeds speed, and gives
you altitude.

I think that refers to the display maneuver where the aircraft uses only its
thrust to hover above ground with its fuselage aligned vertically. Very
impressive for a non-VTOL aircraft.

Very impressive, and very bad if you get an engine un-start.
Thanks, everyone. I've added a few more maneuvers which couldn't be covered by
normal move actions.
