Subject: [SG,DS,FH] unit composition and camouflage

G'day guys,

Just a couple of quick questions

1) While I don't doubt some nations will persist with me only in the combat
line, is it more (or equally likely) to see all female units (in addition to
all male units) or mixed units by 2180-2190s? Guess it will depend on
the nation, the RH figs would suggest they have some all female units, but the
NAC/NSL may be mixed?

2) I've seen mention of digital cam for foot soldiers, but when I saw an
example of blocky/pixellated cam on an army truck the other day it
didn't
look very cam-like to me, how on earth does it work at such scales or
are they assuming you only have to protect at great distance where such big
blocks would still look like smooth curving lines rather than large blocky
squares (alternatively did the army units in Tas get stuck with leftovers that
didn't really work?;P).

3) By 2180s-2190s what kind of cam sheeting over bunkers etc is likely?
Netting or solid cammed sheets or are they likely to be underground or
something anyway? (I know what I want for my home grown guys but was trying to
see what you guys thought would be standard for the main GZGverse players).

Cheers

Egyptians and Israelis do or did have units of female soldiers. I don't know
that they ever saw action. I would assume that *some* nation will try this
within the next 200 years, eg for powered armor troopies.

Depends on how much time and effort you have available, and who you're facing.
Netting and sheets are probably not going to help much against first line
sensors. Even today, when you apply camo you always try to get natural
vegetation if possible, for the best match.

Beth - be careful about assuming too much based on the RH figures
available
- they were done by Nic as a 100 club special commission, for a chap who
wanted an all-female unit.... that's the only reason there aren't (yet)
any
male RH troopers! ;-)
