Well...

I was considering posting it, but...

www.angelfire.com/va/basileus/newang.txt

is a less volatile place to put it. If y'all can stand getting slammed around
a little...

Keep in mind this is a discussion as might be published in a New Roman
professional publication, adressing how to take apart a unit with the same org
as the 123 (QORC), RNALI as one the stargrunt.ca webpage.

If I don't get too much hate mail I might consider doing some of the other
orgs this way.

Hi folks,

> Bad URL...

It worked for me, though I ended up having to copy-and-paste the text to
a
text editor so I could get the text line wrap-around...

Nah. No problem. I nearly wet myself laughing at some of it. Some great lines:

"Otherwise the Headquarters company is not terribly unusual except that there
is a small level of overstaffing due to the need of the English colonel for
his valet, driver, winesteward, and someone to take care of his minimum of
three large yellow dogs."

Lots of fun!

None from me. Go for it!!

I'd like to add that one to the list of "stuff to be posted" on stargrunt.ca,
actually. (Yeah, I know, Tom and I haven't exactly been booming out the
content recently. Tom has done some, I've done
nuthin'...
Real Life.)

If you want to do more, I think posting them on the site would be fun. And to
the list...

An interesting complement would be if you could provide a similar analysis of
a NRE light infantry unit as written from a NAC point of

The Jaeger Company as posted on stargrunt.ca

I'd love for someone to do up the battalion structure
for Jaegers and/or for someone to do up the
Panzergrenadier company and battalion.

Now, I'm a little hesistant what to do next. The PAU Mobile Maneuver Group is
pretty straightforward, but the writeup is going to be real dismissive. Maybe
Aussies??

The "chauvinism", as you call it, is based on the style of actual Eastern
Roman military treatises where enemy ethnic groups of the Romans were put into
stereotyped categories, along with the proper procedures to deal with them.
e.g. people X does this and that, their strengths are blah blah, and their
weaknesses are blah blah, etc.
