Ok I'm looking for 25mm Anime models. Both infantry and powersuits. I'm
picking up some New Israeli Assault Troopers which have some possibilities for
convertion. What I can' find is power armour. I'm going to check out the old
scale Jovian Exo suits next time I'm in the area for the store but that's all
I have in style.

G'day Jaime,

Checked out the GZG list of anime models?

Jaimee, if you're thinking of hitting american Eagles down here, all they have
are the old Syrenes for the JC minis. I kick myself for passing up an Ebay
auction for some of those awesome models though even it included 3 Syrenes to
3 other usable models.

As far as the rest of it, I'm not sure what you're looking for or I might be
able to offer more input, being an anime freak myself.

Hard body armour for regular infantry, the more stylized lines of anime then
"hard" or fantasy sci fi. I think it's the more of over accentuated form.

The more I think about it the more it seems that I'm going to have to hack and
slash most of what I want. I like the "over the shoulder" BFG which is what
drew me to the Isreali stuff.

Sorry for the little rambling.

G'day,

> Hard body armour for regular infantry...

Are there any descriptions that catch you eye as between us the Tassie mob
have a swag of the anime stuff and may be able to come up with a pic for you.
As far as I remember there were even some pics up on the old GZG site so
following the Beast's (or whoever it was) directions (i.e. chopping off
index.html etc and leaving directory name etc) you may still be able to find
them.

Cheers

Thanks Beth. Now having gone back to the GZG Catalogue site I've discovered my
problem. I liked the look of the only mobile suit girl model they have as an
image and the discriptions sound interesting, but I'm also looking for male
models too. If you have any images of more of the mobile suit girls I'd be
interested.

G'day,

We've got a fair few of them down here - haven't we Alister? ;)

> they have as an image and the discriptions sound interesting, but

We are talking about St^3 Jon's efforts here so male and anime figs are few
and far between in relation to male counterparts;P

I'll ask Derek tonight about male ones.

> If you have any images of more of

We'll chase some up for you, but it may take a week as they belong to somebody
else.

My trick, but, as I pointed out before, also, there's a link to the old
images, but it's strictly a directory, so you have to hunt a bit to find
'em.

I'm assuming Jaime already found the 'here', but, just in case:

Hi,

I found this site today:
http://www.adiken.com/Fenryll/Q%20Sci-Fi/Main%20page%20Sci-Fi/main_page_
scif i.htm

The space girl, Marines and the Exterminator look Anime to me.
Ask for the size because I heard some of those mini are big for 28-30mm

sorry it takes me so long to get through this. i have trouble finding time
to read the thousand-odd messages that have piled up in my "GZG List"
folder in Outlook (yearch).

If you want to take pics of my hard-suit girls thats no problem, as I
was after some to put on my site anyway. I don't mind bringing them around or
something after exams. (must catch up on wargaming then, defiantly).
